As part of my birthday month, spatch just presented me with a little black cat bag containing the Criterion flash sale fruits of Orson Welles' The Immortal Story (1968), which I had loved at the start of this month.



I just want an extra week in the month to do nothing but sleep instead of talking to doctors and bureaucracies. I can't believe we are almost out of October. It should be an inexhaustible resource.

Excellent present and excellent bag!

spatch extended the bag like a puppet around the corner of the living room, making a chirruping little mew. It was great.

And we are almost out of October, but Noirvember is coming!

A legitimate argument in favor of the calendar even if I still want that extra week!
