spatch just presented me with a little black cat bag containing the Criterion flash sale fruits of Orson Welles' The Immortal Story (1968), which I had loved at the start of this month.
I just want an extra week in the month to do nothing but sleep instead of talking to doctors and bureaucracies. I can't believe we are almost out of October. It should be an inexhaustible resource.

Aw! Thank you so much. Catching him at the start of his career did make me wonder what he was doing lately and I'm glad to see the answer is "playing Sherlock Holmes."
