Apparently if you go up onto a flat roof and just go through the dust and sand up there, looking at it under a microscope, some portion of it will reliably be micrometeorites, that, I gather, look quite different from terrestrial sand and itty-bitty pebbles.

I don't know if I knew that! I have a microscope. I can look at some roof sand. How wonderful.
