Hestia celebrated her eleventh birthday with an afternoon program of bird theater and a charcuterie of turkey and ham—the Kitty Cristo—for her festive dinner. We told the birth story of her and her brother and made much of her eloquent ears.





Highlights of car radio this afternoon included the McCrary Sisters' "Voices on the Water" (2024) and L'Antidote's "Pomegranate" (2025), whose video wins major points with me for referencing Parajanov. Tomorrow, more political phone calls.
