Now really, even the Sumerian King List has Gilgamesh only ruling for 126 years. That's nothing! Alulim, before the Flood, reigned for 28,800 years. And after the Flood, Etana reigns 1,500 years and Lugalbanda ruled for 1,200 years. Sumerian King List

Yes, but just think how much easier your Akkadian homework would be right now with no flood story!
