Will you sound it out, will you drown it out, will it raise you from the dead?
Rabbit, rabbit! The remainder of the previous month was taken out at the knees by the sinus infection I finally had diagnosed after a week of escalating too much pain to sleep. It is snowing in a small flecked glitter like salt in the streetlight. I am on the wrong coast to see next week's occultation of the Pleiades by the quarter moon. I really had hoped by this time of year for T Coronae Borealis. Mir zaynen do, mir veln zayn do. I miss the therapeutic purr of Dr. Autolycus.

Deadlines are bullshit. Write when you're better. Someone keeps telling me that, Gentlethem. *hugs*

AMEYN.
(Looking for derlebn in its natural habitat, I hit this modern recording of "Fifty-fifty" from the Milken Archive which is slightly changing the subject, but really great.)

Thank you. It feels deeply superfluous. The physician's assistant said she had been seeing people all week who came in suspecting they had sinus infections and then I walked in and all the bells and whistles in the textbook presentation went off. Go, me?

Thank you. There's got to be something.
(I wrote about a movie.)

And beautifully! You make it clear the film isn't very good, and yet you make me want to watch it just to inhabit the narrative space described by the review.

Thank you so much!

I like the idea of snow to mark the month-turn. It should happen more often, except in the months where it shouldn't.
