I'm going out there and I'm going fast and going hard
By one in the morning, the sky was shirring over with city-reflecting cloud, but at midnight it was still clear and moonless and we watched the small bright flashes of the Quadrantids whose radiant is in the northern rim of Boötes, like static around the head of Draco, although
spatch saw a fireball at the zenith and right before I turned back to the car to join him, a great line of light dropped earthward from the handle of the Plough.
WHRB has become our night-driving go-to because after ten o'clock it switches from classical music to whatever deranged genius occurs to the DJs until dawn and its highlights tonight included Heavens to Betsy's "Axemen" (1994), LiLiPUT's "I Had a Dream" (1981), Kraftwerk's "Spacelab" (1978), the Casual Dots' "I'll Dry My Tears" (2004), and James Chance's "Contort Yourself" (1979).
For the last night of Hanukkah, which was New Year's Day, we lit the eighth candle for the future.

Thank you! They were wonderful to see. I am informed my godchild also went outside and stood in the deep sky for a while.
I look forward to checking out some of these songs.
Enjoy!

You're welcome! If there isn't some ridiculous international restriction, I commend them to your attention. "Axemen" drove me crazy by sounding familiar the entire song without a hint of title or band name from which I was left wondering if I last heard it in 1994.

Nice! We were very pleased with our random allotment of skronk, especially since at one point it was playing while we were trying to get out of a cul-de-sac in an expensive-looking neighborhood after midnight.
