spatch and I have been married for eleven years. Our anniversary gift is supposed to be steel, which sounds more modern than tin or pottery or bronze, but the names of the three-age system are misleading: steel comes out of tells and hillforts as well as mills and skyscrapers. Here we are still, through all this jumbled time.
