How was Tim Woodward's Kit Neilan? Or his character in A Piece of Cake, beyond I assume short-lived? He's the one of the Woodward sons I had much less experience of, although characteristically he has now manifested in hindsight in several films when I wasn't looking.

Ha, yes, that always happens! I hadn't got as far as realising it was Woodward, as in Edward, though, but of course. He was fine in FWT, but he was alongside Anthony Andrews, Nicola Pagett, Michael Gambon & a very young Nigel Havers, so he was the least outstanding to me, but as you can see, with that line up, that's not saying much! The two shows were 12 years apart so I had to go look him up in A Piece of Cake to check which one he was, but he was Squadron Leader Rex, who was indeed very memorable and responsible for a lot of the deaths of the other pilots, and not anything like as short-lived as would have been desirable for everybody else in the serial.

Apparently my body's current modus operandi is to take forever to recover even from things I enjoyed, which is very what the hell, who ordered this.

I know the feeling all too well, and it is terrible unfair and it sucks. Enjoying things takes a lot of strength!! *hugs* I hope you recover enough generally that this stops being the case, though.

although I do trust your ability to watch transfers that look like they went through the wash.

Ha, fair. :-D (I've watched as far as the opening and I can see why I thought they were connected to Bananarama, that is a very eighties pop vibe on the logo. I'm not ruling it out, lol.)
