It is my birthday. I am forty-three years old, the age of I have no idea which fictional characters. I woke to a card from my godmother and a book of queer horror essays from my parents. At midnight, spatch solemnly presented me with a spoonful of cinnamon sugar. Autumn is chasing itself through the clouds outside.

I don't know any of them either! My eye was caught by the name Charlotte Brulee, however, and she seems to be affiliated with "Big Mom Pirates", which sounds pretty cool.
