Is it ambitiously weak to be proficiently poor and still smile when on trial?

I woke up this morning in the middle of an asthma attack and our bathroom ceiling has just been discovered to be leaking again through the unfinished sheetrock when we had been left under the impression that its cause had been repaired and I am so very sick of days that are wrecked before they start. I just want to be able to sleep and write and for the hell of it watch a movie or two. A brick of money at this point is obviously beyond the pale.

We thought the problem had been fully taken care of ten days ago. I am more than a little concerned that the asthma is partly in response to whatever water damage our apartment is accruing because of the tardiness of the property manager.
