And in the nighttime we go out and scour the streets for trouble
Whatever else I had planned to do with my afternoon turned into Operation OTC, by which I mean that one of my maintenance medications failed to come in to the pharmacy to the point where I ran out of it and thus I had to run around with
spatch looking for a tide-over until such time as either the pharmacy or my insurance or both of these cogs in the coarse-grinding mills of American healthcare should get their act together, which fortunately we were able to do at merely stupid expense of time and concentration and, yes, money. On the bright side, I got an herbal chai out of the quest and he got a ginger lemonade and we split a lemon scone and I met a nice tree while being rained on. This song was playing at one point. I discovered the band in the summer of 2018 and associate them with long, light-filled explorations of Boston when I didn't feel so locked in by the world.

You're welcome! I like the entire album, but that song was my introduction and my favorite.

I feel like I missed a lot of last spring, so I'm taking extra advantage of this one.

Thank you! It could have been worse, but it could also just not have happened.

Congratulations on winning today's quest in the worst LARP, "US health care"

Thank you! Augh.
Nice blossoms!
It seems like a good spring for flowers.
It's been an outstanding spring for flowers
...the tulips I snapped on April 21st lasted until Sunday.

Thank you! As far as I can tell, none of the trees were malevolently aligned.

As I said, he swans about scene stealing as the amoral Intelligence guy and this set gets his full Wigram glory here, I think. I am delighted.
(Plus, is William H Macy a name I have seen you write about???)

Mazel tov! Also, fine, I'll see the movie.

I am not uninterested in him! Why do you ask?

I was investigating other things I can watch with Jeremy Northam and I recognised his name, and I thought it was you who had noted him at least sufficiently that I remembered it.
Anyway, FYI then: Happy, Texas is a film where Jeremy Northam is one of a pair of escaped Texan convicts who go on the run in a gay couple of pageant-runners' camper van and pretend to be them, which apparently winds up with him dating William H. Macy to maintain their cover?
I can't say anything for sure as I stopped looking after a couple of clips, a brief blurb and people being enthusiastic about it being v good/atypical & also likely available, as I shall almost certainly see it sometime, but I thought you probably would like to know!
(I watched 2 clips and the first has apparently been living contextless and rent free somewhere deep in the back of my head, presumably since the BAFTAs in 2000. Whenever it was, I had no idea the random Texan in it was Jeremy Northam, because unlike casting directors, I just don't think of him that way. No doubt there was a terrible world shortage of Americans that year. XD)
Please forgive all the editing. The person who made the above gifs also giffed HT, so, just to prove I've not entirely lost it:

I hope they're very happy! (The gif is delightful.)

Ha, I have no idea how far they go with it. And I am v grateful to said person for giffing exactly the Jeremy Northams I was looking for yesterday, and no others. :-)

I heard that lavender chai is a thing now. I want to try it.

I'm glad to be able to share. I'm really enjoying the blossoms this spring.

If it doesn't contain actual tea, I want to try it! I had no idea.

I'll take the cicadas!
Still, the tree is lovely (and the lilacs, too, are in bloom).
Do you have a sufficiency of flowering trees near you?
