With a brief exception of coughing myself blue in order to walk around the block, I spent most of my day either glued to my work computer or deliquesced on the couch recuperating with television thanks to my mother wrestling the idiocies of Apple TV+, but it was Candlemas, so here is my favorite invocation to St. Brigid courtesy of Emma Christian and

And today is setsubun, when you drive oni out of your house by throwing dried soybeans and then eat your age in them. And, in more recent years, you eat an ehomaki, which is basically just a maki roll in log form rather than cut into pieces. (Hopefully Instagram will let you see this)
