Doesn't have too be much as long as we're still smiling
I must thank the unknown benefactor who caused a packet of Lofty Pursuits' Damfino Assortment to fetch up on our porch this evening for me to discover when I left the house to refill some medications for the cat. Of the image candy contained therein, we seem to have dreidels, bananas, pumpkins, aliens, and Mothman, as well as a couple of citron slices, an orange blob which may or may not have been a tangerine sour before I ate it, and an unidentifiable image which looks a bit like a Girl Scout badge. Mothman's translucent red sugar eyes really do glow at the right angle to the light. Neither of us has as yet seen what happens if we try him.

They are a candy-making company who use vintage machineries and techniques to make both old-school stuff like humbugs and lemon drops and also stuff like cut-rock Mothman!

I can't lose the ability to swim in the sea! Maybe my power will be absolutely nothing except counteracting the curse of salt water.

They make me very happy! They have videos about their candymaking, too.

We had no idea it even existed until it turned up in the assortment.

I actually thought it might be. Thank you, personally.

It's such a great Mothman. We haven't even eaten it. All the other candy, yes, but Mothman lives on.
