(Now I want to know if Elizabeth P. Glixman is related to my mother's side of the family . . .)

I am not yet home; there will be updates soon. For now, I shall state only that strange_selkie and darthrami and their three cats are made of awesome, and so were those cinnamon buns. Also, Jason Isaacs.

Mr. Darling had been practicing small talk all afternoon.

I forgot to mention also that my poem "Fasti" has been accepted by Heliotrope, which makes me particularly happy since I half-killed myself to get it finished on deadline. It should also appear this month.

By the way, I drove all over town to-day looking for The Secret of Roan Inish. Looks like I'll have to order it online . . . Part of the problem was that a lot of the stores I tried to go to were closed, all of a sudden. How many clothing stores do we need in this world?

It doesn't seem to be a widely-known entry in the catalogue of Ovid, but I love it—ritual calendars and slightly snarky storytelling, what's not to like?
