1. I consider you one of my more awesome friends: therefore, even if I rarely manage to speak to you twice in the same month (for which I have no real excuse: I am a lousy correspondent), at least this way I can keep some tabs on you and in the process appreciate the always informed and quirkily intellectual weirdness that your brain seems to run on.
