I am not doing fantastically, but I dreamed that I saw rushthatspeaks in the window of a tea shop in a fabulous hat; he came down to the verge of the highway where I was walking and kissed me.

elisem has created a necklace inspired by a photo I took: "The Art That Comes of It." It is extremely hibiscus.

I appreciate the multiplicity of voices surveyed in the twenty stories of New York's "The War and New York."

The necklace feels to me like it's filled with pollen. It's probably the discontinued Swarovski crystal beads.

Because I backed into the paper by way of another link, I read most of the articles before seeing the editorial. It closes, "There is a pervasive sense that everyone is hurting, aggrieved, and misunderstood and no longer pretending to share a common reality." I would like to think the sharing of voices helps at least some of the people interviewed feel that they are inhabiting the same world that is acknowledged to exist, even if it can't do much for the pain.

Re: your last remark, I agree. I liked a weekend segment of NPR that featured a number of people who, despite the suffering they've endured in the current war, are reaching for compassion. That sharing of voices felt good to me, and I feel like if they can reach, there's hope.

I have never read Cress Delahanty! What sort of hat features in it?

I would probably wear that, assuming my hair to be dyed the lapis shade of blue it generally is. Though I have no idea what I'd do for the rest of my outfit. At any rate, I have marked the book down on my to-read and am grinning in delight.

It was a blue-black cartwheel of a hat in the dream, against which your hair showed its natural blue, like a night and a day sky at the same time. It was a good effect.

I did not realize Tubi was invisible outside the U.S! How obnoxious. It is intermittently but surprisingly useful for older movies and TV. The page is bannered, "The award-winning, fan-favorite series has touched down just in time to celebrate 60 years of adventure. Join the Doctor and his companions as they journey through time and space," and is then organized by individual Doctor. Illustrated in a sort of poster style, which is fun in the ways that paperback covers never looked exactly like the actors.
