You're the waves, ocean-signed
I like the fallback of Daylight Saving Time so much more than I like the leap forward. My life has reduced again to whether I have slept enough to do anything with the day or not, but I slept nine hours last night and woke with a cat piled on my feet. Pictured by permission:
spatch in Maine, in his true ornament as a local character.

Same here. Yay for sleep and cats!

It's not just the extra hour of sleep! I feel less weird about the sunlight.
Sleep and cats are essentials.

I prefer the current configuration of clocks, too. Glad it's back; wish we could quit moving it.

Would be fine with the abolition of Daylight Savings. I understand this opinion is not geographically unanimous, but it would simplify my life. (Absolutely hate the proposal to make it permanent.)

I think my having lived mostly farther south, with less emphatic seasonal changes, may be related to my having weaker feelings about all this. Even so, agreed re: which version should take precedence.

Thank you! They should put up better signs at that crossing.
