In order for the City of Somerville to collect and dispose of our garbage bin which had become, courtesy of the rats, too damaged for further use, we had to decorate it with a red sticker denoting its unsalvageable status. I hadn't realized it was technologically advanced enough for a corpse marker.

Despite extensive data retrieval, I did lose some links and extraneous notes with the demise of Bertie Owen, but I had meant to share the 1944 U.S. Navy Health Record for George the Cat: "Worries hell out of everyone."

Ours only has the rat hole chewed through the lid, so they won't take it, so it's back in the little space for the bins in our dire deck area, but none of us will touch it because RATS.
