Weather permitting, spatch and I are preparing to travel out of state for the first time in more than three years. It feels peculiar. Planes, trains, and public transit are not involved; driving, masks, and open air are. It's a day trip, but we still have to think about packing. My mother has bequeathed me a traveling hat. If the weather does not permit, we'll do something else.

It's very difficult to stay up on Tasty Sauces for Meats when you consume as much chicken as I do. This was supposed to be $1.29 in the Random Crap Aisle at Aldi, but it rang up SEVEN-NINETY-EIGHT so I was casting mental aspersions on it but Nicole said we had the $7.98 and also it is goddamn delicious, it raises the effort to return ratio on "not chicken again, oh, it's chicken, whee," and the moral I think is "Life is short, share your $8 barbecue sauce" and it's probably true you couldn't eat a weather system in your current digestive state but I mean. If there are Republicans. Or people making traffic.
