spatch and I are preparing to travel out of state for the first time in more than three years. It feels peculiar. Planes, trains, and public transit are not involved; driving, masks, and open air are. It's a day trip, but we still have to think about packing. My mother has bequeathed me a traveling hat. If the weather does not permit, we'll do something else.
