We know how to pass the time

spatch was taking some pictures of me at the U-Haul in the late afternoon and he said the results reminded him of PJ Harvey. The bee is one of more than a dozen we saw clustering around a cloudy purple bush I didn't recognize, not apparently buddleia. Neither of us photographed the neat little sea-sculptures on the fountain at Capen Park. These days I feel I can do about half a thing and then I am useless for the rest of the day, so at least I spent part of it in the sunlight.

It's important and I haven't been getting enough of it, although partly because it has been such a grey and rain-filled summer. (Good for the drought, not so hot for walking around in the brief interludes when I have the energy.)
