Coffee in the morning, it's not enough
Having been obliged to get up early for a procedure, I am staring somewhat vegetatively at things. Please enjoy this accidentally artsy double exposure I got from pausing an episode of Perry Mason (1957–66).

I quite like the video for Girl Ray's "Everybody's Saying That" (2023).
I do not know why our property manager has sent a contractor this morning to buzz off all our ground cover, but he had better leave the lilac and the young trees.

Thank you! It went well in that it revealed nothing concerning and was even somewhat reassuring, frustratingly in that it provided no magic bullets for my current medical situation, but frankly at this point I will take "not worse than we thought."

And your double exposure looks like a haunting, for sure. Ghost hunting the characters in Perry Mason. (Is this your first time concentratedly watching Perry Mason?)
Jaysus, I am the most insensitive person this side of ... well, the solar system at the very least. I too do hope the procedure accomplishes what it's supposed to successfully.
PS... I also should have read your replies before I made my belated wish. Well, better than awful, anyway!

You're welcome! I got it from a music blog I intermittently follow.

It is! I had some exposure to the show as a child because it was around on TV and my parents watched it, but I never really got into the original novels and discovered most of its regular cast through films. I've been picking episodes by their guest actors or their summaries and so far it's been working out: it really does have a formula, but I am enjoying it.
(I had originally written re Hamilton Burger: "Show: have a loser with a weird face. Me: don't mind if I do," but that seemed both reductive and unnecessarily unfair to William Talman.)

You are not insensitive and I appreciate the well-wish regardless of its time of arrival.

Definitely! I am still waiting on a bunch of tests, but some things that could have been very bad were ruled out.
