Obviously, I will not be at Readercon.

On the other hand, the majority of my DVDs are now unpacked into and onto the same quartet of milk crates, which is much more fun than boxes. (Excavations are still ongoing.)

They are vintage milk crates! My mother sidewalk-looted them in New York in the 1960's. There used to be a dozen, but the collection was whittled down over the years. My father repainted them recently.

All the kids at my college had milk crates for bookcases/storage but they were plastic and metal and heavy and ugly! Those look so nice.

Was also thinking of you with the opening of Oppenheimer this weekend. At least one can catch a film in the comfort of one's home later.

It did, actually! Some of spatch's DVDs on the bottom shelf of milk crates, out of shot, are also appealing.
