I just want you to know who I am

Happy New Year!

This is where the shameless self-promotion part of my livejournal earns its keep. As one may gather from the previous entries, I write: short stories and poetry. As I have this thing about print and ink, I publish very little online. (I also have a record player. Want to make something of it? Now where did I leave those papyri . . .) What stories I do have online, however, I offer here for your amusement and, if I'm lucky, amazement. Enjoy!

"Moving Nameless," reprinted from Not One of Us #27
"A Maid on the Shore," from Zahir #3
"Theagenes Remembers," from Vestal Review #10
"Skins on Sule Skerry," from Vestal Review #11
"Roadside Ballads," from Vestal Review #13
"Over the River," from Vestal Review #15
"Expiration," from Vestal Review #19

And although I cannot take quite the same artistic credit for it, here is also an interview that Matt Cheney did with me in the fall. He does terrific reviews and criticism, too.

Questions, comments, howls of outrage?

You interview rather well, it seems. When is the collection due out?

Sonya's too modest. She probably forgot to mention that her poem, “Matlacihuatl’s Gift,” won a 2003 Rhysling Award and that her short fiction and poetry have appeared in various magazines, including Not One of Us, Star*Line, Mythic Delirium, and Realms of Fantasy. :-)
