Can't we have a normal talk today?

I had six doctor's appointments this past week. Three of them were on the same day. Any way you slice these numbers, they're stupid.

On the other hand, last night I slept ten hours, officially exceeding the cumulative total of the rest of said week, which is also stupid, but it makes a nice change.

I have earnestly devoted my afternoon to lying around with books and old-time radio and going nowhere.
