I hated the idea that I had not left the house all week except for reasons related to my temporarily disabled knee, so I walked very carefully and unevenly up to the top of my street and took a picture of one of the flowering trees that I have been missing. spatch located another flowering cherry a few nights ago. I want to heal in time to visit it.

Oh, nice! I like maples. There's a birch around the corner from us which I didn't walk out to, but could see as I passed.

That's lovely, and I hope you do manage to visit the other cherry tree. There has been some very nice blossom round here recently, and soon it'll be time for the apple trees...
