I am not at all criticizing

I didn't think you were! I thought you were being careful to explain the nature of the personal and subjective wall, which I was trying to make clear was thoughtful but unnecessary, since I know that sometimes people just stick on a thing for whatever reason and it doesn't even have to indicate dislike.

I liked it and hope to come back to it sometime. "You made the people in the story seem too kind to each other so I cried and had to stop reading" is, I hope, really a compliment.
