spatch and I exchanged books and rushthatspeaks and I exchanged IOUs. My parents gave us a vacuum cleaner with which we plan to terrorize the cats tomorrow. My niece lit the first night's candle: for the children. Our menorah survived the move intact.

Cassie is a worried cat as a rule, but it turns out that she just will not give way to the vacuum cleaner. I sometimes have to bodily move her. Other times she will veeerrrry slowwwwly rise up, carefully stretch all four legs, and amble away, generally to lie down again right in the only path for the vacuum cleaner to reach its destination.
I do wonder what your little cats will think and do.

Autolycus clung to my shoulder throughout the operation of the vacuum and Hestia vanished into a parallel dimension and returned only when it was over.
