spatch and I have been married nine years today. We celebrate in our new apartment, in street-flooding sunlight, in these still strange times. Our anniversary gift looks like pottery, which I keep envisioning as potsherds, or perhaps a rhyton in the marine style—dolphins, seaweeds—taken whole from the ash. Here we are, too.

We celebrated thirty years back in September although not all of that married.

Thank you!
If we count as a couple rather than a married one, this year was our tenth.

Thank you! It's been ten overall, it's just that this spring was on fire and we noted the date to ourselves and survived!

Thank you! It is a slightly astonishing block of time to contemplate, not least because of all the things that happened in it.

Wishing you long years of good homes together, with sunlight on pottery and willows in view.

Also yay better apartment and triple yay sun. I have one partner anniversary in early April and the other in mid-February, and my wedding anniversary is at the end of December, so sun is always not to be expected but always to be welcomed.
I can see that! I hope it graces you at decent intervals nonetheless.
