I have been bivalently shot in the arm, which I keep starting to type as bivalvely. Perhaps if this booster fails to unlock the space laser, I can at least get my gills back? I was mistaken for a flower this morning by Stripey the Tenth.
(Or, failing that, effective immunization and minimal side-effects. And a good year and a sweet one and a healthy one.) ("Sweet" might include "Donald Trump gets &^*&^&% jailed, already")

I didn't feel it at all and felt superstitiously skeptical that anything was happening in my immune system at all and then about an hour after I got home I was reading on the couch and suddenly fell asleep and stayed that way for the next three hours, so I am now more optimistic.
:D Yay, immune response! That's the vax consequence I prefer for myself, honestly. "Not much except extra sleep" is okay because it can be planned for, somewhat.
I had fried clams for dinner as a reward for the amount of time it took to haul out by car to Chelsea and back in current traffic and public transit disarray. Eat the metaphor!
Mine is also Wednesday. I have to drive a little, but I can get some coffee and walk on the beach at Edmonds, WA, which will be nice. (The coffee shop I intend to go to calls their drink sizes after shellfish, from shrimp to geoduck. I refuse to utter the term "clam latte," but luckily they do not care, and as I recall the coffee is good.)

That sounds nice! Also, I am glad to hear it.

As a person who cannot drink coffee, but once voluntarily tried clam chowder ice cream, that is a horrifying phrase.
Thank you! We do not have photos of every stage, but Stripey the Tenth climbed all the way to cling like a brooch to my breast before finally taking wing.

Very glad you're bivalently boosted! Keep salt water near to hand in case it is also a bivalve booster and those gills do come back.

I catch myself doing this also, which is funny, because it's my own story, but here we are.
*hugs*

Thank you! Maybe I need to trigger them with proximity to the sea.

Also, Painting Box!
I have realized that I grew up listening to a surprising amount of the Incredible String Band.

Thank you!
I shall receive my own "Bivalve" Boost, so I can grow my own protective shell, on Monday.
That is the best image. I love it.
