Stick your hand in the sand and I'll find you
On the one hand, I am on day two of a lancing headache and a concomitant amount of sleep. On the other, it has been raining all afternoon as though it plans to keep on doing it, my mother now has six monarchs in chrysalis and eight more caterpillars busily eating their way through the latest milkweed, a map has been found to the Drowned Hundred, and the sonification of a black hole sounds like whalesong by Delia Derbyshire.

That's very cool!
I am sorry about the headache. I hope it also gets thoroughly swept away. ♥

I am afraid to listen to the black hole. It seems like a bad idea.

The headache is ambivalent (it's not blinding, it's just not gone), but we are having rain! Perhaps even thunderstorms.

She went out to gather more milkweed for them this afternoon and returned with a tiny caterpillar clinging to the leaves. I think they trust her.
