In point of fact, I have an ear infection. (I have antibiotic drops for it. spatch has promised to put them carefully in the affected ear and then I can yowl and bat at my head and be appeased with treats.) I did not take any pictures while traveling to the clinic and back. I have eaten some of the fortified rice cakes, though, and nostalgic chicken soup in a box is still the plan for dinner. [edit] Still tastes great with an egg cracked in.

This is one of the places you being cat-affiliated appears to be better for Spatch: tinydog merely gave us mournful looks and then went and rubbed her ears on our pillows so they would smell of ear medicine. Appeasing you with treats seems a small price to pay to avoid that. (She was a singularly incorruptible dog. Bribing her almost never worked.)
