It's high noon somewhere, it's dark in here
Just in time for the longest night, we bring you the eighth issue of The Deadlands!
Our newest issue has gone live, featuring poetry from Carlos Hernandez, Claire Smith, Kristin Fullerton, and Erik Amundsen, fiction from Margaret Dunlap, Marissa Lingen, and Daria Lavelle, and nonfiction from Wendy N. Wagner and Amanda Downum. When the ghosts come souling, they sing to subscribers first. If you haven't got a ha'penny, they'll find you in time.

As ever, the gates of our archives stand open by dark and day, but pray consider a subscription at this cold hallows of the year. The light returns, but only if we feed it. Pour one out for the sun.

We get really excellent poetry at this magazine.

Fully agreed. I just don't have any editorial influence on the fiction, so I cannot feel even a little psychopompish toward it.
