spatch and I have been married eight years today. It is not a less strange year than our last one, but it is the last night of Hanukkah and the sunlight in the street outside is dry but beautiful. Our anniversary gift seems to be bronze, like a hoard of ancient things under the earth of a field. We are still here, too.
