We ordered some more sufganiyot. They are not remotely part of my family's fried object tradition. It does not stop them from being delicious.

Fried objects have that unfortunate tendency.

I don't even like all that many fried objects! I love fish and chips and eat my one traditional latke every year. But I like sufganiyot. (I like doughnuts.)
