From the department of last-minute promotion, please tune in tonight at 8 pm EST for Sunday Suspense: WPM Radio Presents a Zoom Reunion, otherwise known as the first performance of a certain group of radio players since 2013's The Big Broadcast of 1962: A Byfar Christmas Carol. The two acts are drawn from episodes of the classic radio drama Suspense (1940–62); the interstitial material is drawn from spatch. The first time I saw him in 2009, he was playing Frank Cyrano for WPM's The Frank Cyrano Byfar Hour in 1938. Tonight it's 1950 and I get to see him in argyle sweaters again.

I'm really looking forward! And not so covertly hoping it will lead to spatch writing more in the Byfar universe, since he is so very good at it.

(Man, I should have ordered some Cherry Mash for the occasion. I'm not sure I can still eat them, but it's the symbolism that counts.)
