On the ocean wide we must abide till the daylight do appear
My physical embodiment and I have been having strong words lately, but I woke up feeling not terrible about myself and
spatch took pictures to commemorate the occasion. Being at a loss for things like new waistcoats, I endeavored to experiment with my current available wardrobe. I may have ended up looking like an extra in North & South (2004).

There has been even less sea in my life this summer than last; it is an unacceptable state of affairs.

I just like this one. I try to hold on to things of myself I like.

Though I do want a really fancy waistcoat one of these days.

In street clothes at the end of the day, in lens flare and soft focus due to camera error: I am now the cover of an alternative album from the '90's.
It impossible for me not to feel that I am so much less of myself than a year ago. It is my hope that in another year I will be able to look back and believe it wasn't true.

So, Richard Armitage?
*hugs*
you certainly know how to stand at a ship’s railing and pockets can be taken out in post
I do remember that corduroy is older than everyone thinks!
and I’m sure they would canonically have been barefoot a great deal of the time if it hadn’t been Fimbulwintresque, for the same reason they don’t suffer gloves and hats.
I personally am barefoot as much of the time as I can manage. Please don't give St. Clair chilblains on my account.

How am I ever going to get onto the masthead of Modern Misandrist Monthly if my foibles are made public? Yes, absolutely Richard Armitage, down to the little fluttery gesture.
Cords and serge de Nimes! Sailors! It works!
(Never fear, bare feet at Moorlowe would violate the Geneva convention; it’s just that 19th-century shoes on an East Indiaman’s deck are openly stupid.)

Aw! Your sacrifice shall be respected.

Do they even allow photoshoots on the Friendship of Salem?

…you don’t think an entire East Indiaman is too outre for a cover shoot…?
