This is the sound of someone losing the plot
I have just learned of Amazon's purchase of MGM. Considering what happened to the availability of titles by Twentieth Century Fox when Disney bought them two years ago, I am not thrilled—on top of the usual unthrillment that comes with a monopoly monopolizing a little more. I didn't hate MGM that much for never figuring out what to do with Van Heflin.

Nobody ever asks for an extra side of dystopia, and yet. It's worse than lima beans.
(I don't actually dislike lima beans that much, but I was exposed to Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (1972) at a formative age.)
