Happy Pi Day! We had a snow squall and spatch got vaccinated! So did selkie, minus the snow. In honor of the holiday and oncoming malaise, we ordered dinner from Mamaleh's with a slice of chocolate cream pie for Rob and a slice of buttermilk rose pie for me. He has since passed out. We were comparing notes on arm ache before then.

The mail brought my contributor's copy of Climbing Lightly Through Forests: A Poetry Anthology Honoring Ursula K. Le Guin (ed. R.B. Lemberg and Lisa M. Bradley, 2021) from Aqueduct Press. I wrote about my contributions for the official release, but I am glad to have the physical book and all its contents. It's beautifully put together.

I can watch the world becoming slowly safer around me and I have no idea when I am going to want to walk into a building with people again.

Rosewater, I imagine, but it said rose on the menu. Came with a sumac strawberry sauce. It was great.
