Once I had a color as red as a rose

My poem "The Bargain" has been accepted by Not One of Us; it features pomegranates and I wrote it last night out of a difficult day. Today has not been of the greatest, either, but at least spatch and I got out for a walk and I took photos before the light ran out.



The motive force of rhetoric aside, wearing a mask in a pandemic isn't heroic, it's the damn minimum of humanity, but that hasn't stopped some of us from looking like statues about it.



This house, on the other hand, looked distressingly like a metaphor.

The McGrath Highway Bridge was built in 1926 and refurbished in 1983 and it feels like cheating to take pictures of it because it doesn't have a bad angle.

I didn't mark when Sarma acquired its cephalopod, but I approve.

This time last year was a blizzard and a medical emergency, but I really believe this time this year is even more stressful, and it should not be the case.
