Too much of today was taken up with virtual doctor's appointments, but they went well, which is what I want. We made a steak with black-eyed peas for dinner. Eventually I will be able to do something with my brain again.

N got me all the Cadfaels in a box (I believe people who consume visual media with more regularity have a name for this) but it's always a battle for me between BUT DEREK JACOBI and BUT DEEP ANNOY BECAUSE BOOK PLOT. I think it's an excellent choice for viewing just now, though, and your abyssal void is very cute.

I am glad the appointments, intrinsically annoying as they are, at least to me, went well.

Autolycus looks so involved! I kept thinking that I saw Hestia nestling around somewhere, but it's just the black figures on the blanket.

Ninja watched an episode of "Hinterland" with David and me last night. When he had had enough belly pets he put both hind paws in the palm of my hand and pushed, but when I took my hand away altogether he corralled it again. I had changed from a petter to a footwarmer, apparently.

Adorable! I love it when black cats are so good at melting into the shadows that all you can see is their eyes. The littlest, cutest demons.
