Rabbit, rabbit! In hindsight, July can perhaps be best summed up as the month where I slept so little, I didn't even manage to note the era-ending death of Olivia de Havilland.

Thus far, August appears to be the month I inherit a trenchcoat and a Scottish wool tie. Both of these items can be worn for approximately point two seconds in the current weather, but my mother managed to achieve photographic evidence first. I am assured I do not actually look like Harpo Marx.



selkie, I'm sorry, I did nothing with my hair this time except wake up with it. (I can't believe I left my hat at home.)



It took me nearly forty years to develop a fashion sense, but now I'm annoyed I didn't notice my tie was off-center.

Me: "It has a lifetime supply of pockets!" My mother: "Where do you think those spies kept everything?"

I don’t know how one gets into the cover model business, but I bet it’s a living. At least in modest lump sums at a time. The jacket pile’s the limit.
