The streetlights only changing 'cause they ain't got nothing better to do
The fact is that I'm not doing fantastically at the moment. Physically, emotionally, I feel awful; I know some of it is the state of the world and I am hoping the rest of it is the state of my allergies. Last night
spatch and I made spaghetti alla sort-of-puttanesca and watched Campbell Scott and Stanley Tucci's Big Night (1996), because it is the sort of movie one cannot watch without Italian food on hand. Tonight we are going to embark on a lemon cake.
I got outside for a bit, where my tolerance for people who won't maintain distance is rapidly approaching the other side of the earth. I have yet to catch it in really good light, but the weeping cherry is really flourishing.

It was smashingly windy and colder than I had budgeted for. On my return, it was determined that if I'd just had some small angular glasses that really caught the light, I could have been some kind of mad science manga villain.

That is a lovely photo of the weeping cherry.
I wish you did have the small angular glasses to complete the manga villain look!

*hugs*
I keep wishing the vertigo would just evaporate. It feels like it's really not helping.

Thank you!

Who knew they should have been an investment?
