Following the line of the tide reclining
Please ignore our cluttered floor and appreciate this helpful Autolycus who understood at once that knees were made for supporting curious cats, not people who might have wanted to stand back up any time in the next century.

Today started early with a doctor's phone visit, after which I walked into Davis Square to pick up a couple of prescriptions from the pharmacy, on the theory that if I can get my environmental allergies under control, maybe my respiratory system will stop trying to kill me with or without assistance from the federal government. It was beautifully sunny, which meant that the bike path was suddenly packed. I walked back via Highland, where M.F. Dulock turned out to be open to online and phone orders with curbside pickup, so I called them from their sidewalk and took home Russian sausages for myself and
spatch and hot and sweet Italian sausages for my parents, as requested, for some future date when I can see them again.
I still feel weird and twitchy and downbeat, but I have discovered that TCM is showing the gloriously nuts pre-Code Million Dollar Legs (1932) tonight and I am going to watch it. Just thinking about Lyda Roberti's musical number makes me smile.

The takeout sounds delicious.
And yes, getting the environmental allergies under control will be a great thing, pandemic or no pandemic.

Sounds familiar, even though my knees are unable to replicate that position.

It's a good street for walking. I understand that physical distancing will get harder the more people want to get outside, but I hope it can still be done.
The takeout sounds delicious.
We turned the sausage into a deeply inauthentic but also deeply delicious stroganoff.

Thank you. I'm really hoping the new meds work (without adverse side effects, which is the other part of trying to medicate me)!

What could a person possibly be doing that is more important than the comfort of a cat?

Since I posted it, Autolycus has displaced my computer to climb onto my lap! He is himself, which is a good cat.
And yay for good takeout.
They are our local butcher shop and I am so glad they are staying open, both in the sense of availability and in the sense of not permanently closing, as I generally worry with neighborhood restaurants etc. to begin with!

He would love the internet. Full of new people to adore him. (And justly so!)

Thank you!

Glad TCM is at least making an effort for you!
Legs
I am sure I have heard "over-stuffed cooch dancer" in some other context, but can't pull it up.
Re: Legs
I'm glad you mostly enjoyed it! I'm just incredibly fond of it as a movie. Or whatever it is.

The needs of the cat outweigh the needs of the perch.
Glad TCM is at least making an effort for you!
Thank you! I do appreciate it.
