Autolycus attempted to convince me that having been subjected to the vet earlier in the day, every good cat deserves pie, but I gave him some cat treats instead. Hestia has been mostly sleeping in the clean laundry. She got treats, too.

I was really happy with it. I think it ended up being mostly Macouns, McIntoshes, Cortland, maybe one of the Shizukas, and the lone Red Delicious, but it was extremely flavorful, tart and still crisp-tasting even after the apple slices themselves had cooked texturally down to softness. I should pick my own apples more often.
