I am returned to Boston. The train did nothing remarkable except arrive on time. I read Farah Rose Smith's Of One Pure Will (2019) and the manuscript of a novel by Michael Cisco that I want to exist in print already; it has yaks and Messerschmidt heads. He took this picture of me last night with Herman. Now I am going to bed.

Oh, what a lovely photo! What a very airy cat! Also I love your socks -- well, sock. Is it one of those pairs that don't match but somehow coordinate? My mother gave me a pair of those once and I wore them out eventually. They were so cheering.

It is! Solmate Socks. They are pretty much my strict sock wear except in very hot weather. I like them a lot.
