The heat broke last night with the thunderstorm and I finally, finally, finally slept. Today I am exhausted and achy in the way of a body that has been reminded that it doesn't have to run one hundred percent on cortisol, but I dreamed of ghost-hunting with two real-life friends whom I haven't seen in some time and it didn't go badly.

I am still eating foods with no structural integrity whatsoever and it is boring, but fortunately kippers have no structural integrity if you hit them with a fork. Also it turns out I really like liverwurst. And we have a nice source of plantains just around the corner.

I am unspeakably behind on writing about movies.

If you take the liverwurst and the very cheapest "batter whipped!" white sandwich bread, and compress the sandwich slightly, and only add pepper and do not consider condiments unless you have some sriracha, it remains of indistinguishable squish and suitable for eating.
