My niece is five years old today, so even though I am still mute as an Andersen mermaid (and feel approximately as painless about getting up and going anywhere), we are meeting the rest of my family to take her to Winnie-the-Pooh at the MFA. She is an excellent niece and we are giving her a year's subscription of Ranger Rick, Jr.

December is an amazingly family month around here.

Happy birthday to your niece! I absolutely loved the Ranger Rick magazine when I was a kid...yikes, more than 3 decades ago...so I am pleased to hear they are still in business.
