Those temperatures are awful! (it's been irritatingly hot when I am, but not nearly that bad)
We are in the wrong latitudes for this to be anything like okay.
That duel sounds hilarious!
It's like a spoof of
The Three Musketeers
before Dumas had even written them. The entire thing just cheered me up.
